The First Shuttle Buses are in Motion on the Bridge over the Eastern Bosphorus Strait on the Eve of the APEC Summit

The first shuttle buses have started service on the bridge over the Eastern Bosphorus Strait to transfer the APEC-2012 Summit guests and participants from the mainland to the Russky Island. The traffic has been organized along the route from the Nazimov Peninsula to the Far East University Campus.

A total of 25 shuttles will be working around the clock during the international event preparation and active period. A state-of-the art checkpoint was built in the territory of OJSC USK MOST production center on the Nazimov Peninsula at the entry to the bridge over the Eastern Bosphorus Strait to ensure security for participants of the APEC Summit. The headquarters of the General Contractor of the unique bridge over the Eastern Bosphorus Strait also located here accommodate the Accreditation Center of the international forum for about 2 thousand Russian and foreign journalists who will cover the events of the APEC-2012 Summit in Vladivostok.
